Information you provide

DooDoo Log stores the bowel-movement details, notes, and water intake you choose to record. An account also uses your email address and profile details, including your username. This information supports signing in, keeping your history, showing statistics, and sharing entries when you choose to do so.

Guest mode and cloud accounts

Guest entries are stored on your device. They don’t sync to another device or automatically move into an account when you sign in. Removing the app or losing the device may remove those entries.

When you use an account, the app stores your account details and health entries with Supabase, its authentication and database provider. Account features need an internet connection. Service providers may process technical information needed to operate their services, such as connection and request logs.

Friends and sharing

Signed-in users can search the profile directory. Your username and profile information are separate from your health entries.

An accepted friend can read a bowel-movement entry only when it is marked for sharing. Private entries, supplemental health records, and personal summaries are restricted to your account. Removing a friend stops future access through the app; it cannot remove copies that person already saved.

The app stores friend connections and blocked-account choices. Blocking prevents new requests and hides profiles and shared entries in both directions. Unblocking does not restore a previous connection.

Reports and moderation

If you report a profile or shared entry, the app stores your account ID, the reported account or entry, your reason, and any explanation you include. A limited copy of the reported username and note is kept for the developer to review, even if that individual entry is later changed or deleted. This copy may contain health information already shared with you.

The reported person cannot see your report or identity as its sender. Reports and evidence are available to the developer for handling abuse and enforcing the sharing rules. Reports associated with an account are removed when that account is deleted. Contact support about a report or a privacy request.

Optional health connections

In versions that include Health export, you can choose to copy saved water, fiber, and supported digestive symptom entries to Apple Health. You choose which types to allow in Apple’s permission sheet. DooDoo Log does not read from Apple Health, and bowel movements, Bristol types, and private notes are not exported.

If you separately connect Google Health to Apple Health, Google Health can read the data you allow, such as water, under its own settings and privacy policy. DooDoo Log does not sign in to your Google account or receive confirmation that Google Health has imported your entries.

Turning off export stops new copies from DooDoo Log. Previously exported data may remain in Apple Health or Google Health after you delete an entry or account here. Review permissions and manage those copies separately in the receiving apps.

Deleting your information

Use Profile to find the deletion controls. Delete Bowel Movement Logs clears those entries and keeps your account and water history. Successful Delete Account removes the sign-in identity, profile, cloud health entries, friend connections, blocks, and associated reports and moderation evidence.

Guest entries on a device and copies already shared or exported are separate. If a deletion request fails or its result cannot be confirmed, retry instead of assuming it completed. Supabase and other providers may retain service logs or backup copies under their own retention practices.
